Well maintained and documented 1969 Pontiac Firebird 350 cu in 2bbl carb3-speed automatic transmission~69,000 original miles For sale is literally a family heirloom but it is time to let it pass on to a new owner. This car has been in my family since 1982. It has been babied and pampered for 35 years. It has always been garaged and covered for that time. The car is mostly original. The interior is all original and in great shape. It was originally orange in color with a white vinyl top. The vinyl top was removed and the car was painted its current black in 1989. The paint looks great from 10 feet away but up close it is starting to show its age with several chips, a couple of scratches and various imperfections. The engine is the 350 cu in with the original 2 barrel carburetor. I am quite positive it is numbers matching but I can't confirm it because I don't know where on the block to find the VIN. If somebody wants to tell me where to find the VIN on the engine block, I will provide a picture. The engine certainly has not been changed since we've owned it and all the other markings indicate the correct year and displacement. The engine has been tastefully dressed with chrome valve covers and air cleaner. I have the clean title in hand. The car comes with a custom car cover. A new owner can really do anything with this car: it runs great and is ready to enjoy as-is, it could be fully restored to original glory or would be a great starting place for a resto-mod project.
