Same owner for 20 years. Super solid and ready to enjoy! It travels at highway speeds with great ease. Accelerates with authority. No clutch chatter. All gauges work including the speedometer. It holds good oil pressure and has no overheating problems. Powered by the dependable 235 6-cylinder Chevy engine with dual carbs, Offenhauser intake, Fenton headers, and Mallory dual point ignition. The engine is coupled to a late model 4-speed transmission and a 355 rear end. Electrical was switched over to a 12V system. The heater works but the windshield wipers are not operational. The tires are BF Goodrich 70 series (P255 rear and P235 front) on chrome 15-inch simulated knock off wheels. It as 4 wheel drum brakes that look to be factory. The suspension is single leaf springs in the front and factory springs in the rear. The paint is in excellent condition and shows very well with only minor chips on the tailgate where the hooks go in. The glass has no cracks or chips. The inside of the box has no dents or scratches. The interior is also excellent except for one hole in the headliner by the sun visor. The underside is solid and rust free except for surface rust on the exhaust pipes. The floors appear to be original and in excellent condition. There has been extensive chrome work done on this truck. Very tastefully done. See pictures. All chrome is excellent. Chrome details include: exhaust manifold, generator, carburetors, valve cover and side cover, radiator fan and pulley, exhaust pipes, differential cover, license plate bracket, hood hinges, center hood plate and spring, dash trim, garnish moldings, steering column, radio delete plate, heater box, and much more.
