Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1975 Toyota Celica GT Coupe RA22L-MAX-UU factory LIGHT BLUE METALLIC (Ditzler PPG 14464..aka "Cobalt Firmament" and "Ocean blue metallic" . ) Reading the model number code goes like this: RA22L is '75 GT "L" is Left hand drive ..The "MAX" is fully loaded trim ...and the "UU" is the North American trim. Color/Trim codes are 802 KD02...which is 802 for 1975 is "light blue metallic" paint with black leather interior. Axle code is T312..."T" being the 6.7" ring gear..."31" is axle ratio of 3.909 and "2" is open dif. The Original color is LIGHT BLUE METALLIC and the Clear Washington State Title in hand confirms that as well as the build tag (which was found in a bag in the trunk). It does have a very poor fizzle can white paint job on it currently. It needs a little body work and a fresh paint to it's original color light blue metallic..I understand this to be a rare color for this year. The engine is a 20R and is very clean. Starts and runs well but isn't ready for any long trips yet. Has a new Weber 32/34 carb. Factory W50 5-Speed Manual Transmission. Clutch holds well. Easy clutch pedal. This has Adjustable Coil Overs installed in the front along with larger Camery discs brakes and Billet Aluminum Camber adjustment plates. The rear Adjustable Coil Overs are NOT installed but included. "Smiley" rear bumper. Smiley Front bumper Cover is ROUGH...needs replacing or a very good body man...Trim is not installed but is included. EXCELLENT CONDITION HONEYCOMB GRILL is INCLUDED. Heat Tape Wrapped Header for 20R is included but NOT installed but included Has old racing seats in the front...drivers seat is semi installed but needs to be done correctly on rails. Passenger seat is not bolted down. No rear seats No Carpet. It's a very solid car to complete this restoration... Starts, runs and drives..CLEAR TITLE...just needs completing. Sold AS-IS As Photo'd. Odometer shows 79,720 miles. There is no cancer or sheet metal rot noted anywhere...esp in areas of concern....the spare tire in the trunk....or around the fender wells in the trunk...neither have cancer....just a bit of surface rust and a little paint bubbling in the base of the spare tire area....it has most of the factory blue paint showing in fairly good condition for a 42 year old car. Trunk even has the original mat...rough shape but still there....Even the Passenger side trunk Jack plastic cover is good....no cracks. A spare oil pan and pickup, alt/gen, rear adj coilovers, front "smiley" bumper cover, door sills, front piece for under the lights and over the bumper and trim and heat tape wrapped header...photo'd and included. The previous owner is a Toyota/Lexus Mechanic and did a ton of work on this. The larger Camary Disc Brakes. Billet Aluminum Camber Adjustment Plates. Coil Overs. The Engine and Transmission are spotless ....giving the appearance of a rebuild. I bought it several years ago and have kept it in my shop (it's now outside for the first time); lost the title and couldn't find the previous owner...until recently. The title is clear and in hand. The undercarriage is very clean...no rust to speak of. The pictures show a little rust dripping from the rear quarter passenger side,...it's actually a little rust from a rivet hole for the trim. This is a very clean and solid Gen 1 Celica GT,...a true gem from the Gem State. Originally LIGHT BLUE METALLIC RA22. I'll do my best to answer any questions you have about this car. 208-651 zero 494 Chris (voice or text)On Dec-28-16 at 15:46:54 PST, seller added the following information: Windows roll up and down and seal (don't know how well the seal is but it doesn't appear to leak)...this includes the rear windows. Passenger side it a little stiff going up....and there's a couple clips above the pass window that's taken off some of the cruddy window tint. There is an window crank assembly as a spare in the pics that's included...it may have been slated to replace the passenger side? No seat belts. It's not a perfect car but I'd say it's an excellent solid restoration car...it has very little rust..no cancer visible..no major body damage....it runs, drives, stops and has a clear Washington State Title.
