You are bidding on a 1967 Mustang Fastback. I purchased the car back in the late 90's with the hope that I would restore it. You know the drill... life, kids, etc. Therefore it is time for me to let it go. to new owner that will enjoy the car. It's a tough pill to swallow when you realize your dream car needs to go. Alas, I bought the car originally from a local drag racer and it was running prior to some disassembly. It had a full roll bar inside, that I removed, and at some point had a front (top side chassis brace welded in. This brace must have been removed during it's the last engine change/swap. The engine is a 289cu that was running high 12 second 1/4 miles at 5K elevation back in day. It has not ran since, but the engine does turn over freely and I would assume it to run again just as well with some TLC. Ford 9" rear end and a new fuel tank sit out back. It's had some floor boards replaced at some point but the transmission tunnel appears to be factory. Rust is present, but nothing that can not be corrected with a full restore. I've seen must worse examples come back to life to be great looking cars.
