For sale I have a good solid 1979 project car Trans Am. The car is very straight and very solid engine transmission running shfts fine, has Mickey Thompson valve covers with headers and duel exhaust that is solid, The car yard drives, with fluid changes and tires could be a daily driver while you repair it. Please look at the pictures carefully and bid according to what you see and ask all questions before bidding. It is missing both door panels, it needs a door latch for the passenger door and window regulator for passenger door.Immediate payment is due with buy it now. On Dec-08-16 at 13:11:03 PST, seller added the following information: I would like to address several questions that I received, the car is solid, other than some surface rust on the bottom of the floor pans there is no rust through and I actually see no Bondo. It appears the car was repainted read along time ago as where the red paint has faded away I can see blue underneath it. The engine runs on all eight cylinders and it runs smooth, sounds like it has a mild cam in it, but it needs a tuneup and carburetor work as it's hard to start when it's really cold out. The car has sat for several years inside and needs to be tuned up and driven. The brakes work but they're a little spongy. And the rear quarters, around the way around the wheels, and that trunk floor in very good condition. Part of the scoop by the rubber seal has broken away but you can't see in the pictures. This is a really good solid car, a good base to start with for restoration as it needs no real sheet-metal work.
