Classic and very original 1953 Chevy 3100 1/2 ton field find in Ocean green. Original black plate truck (we have the original plate) with all new chassis. Complete new chassis, engine, gearbox with wiring, etc. Powder coated chassis with Mustang 2 link independent front end with power steering, 3 speed 350 gearbox with matching late model 4 link rear end. Disc brakes up front with rear drums. The chassis is all powder coating or chrome underneath and has less than 1500 miles on the build since build. The truck has 2 way air suspension, chromed air tanks and braided stainless piping. Wheels are powder coated as well with period Denman Elegance sport tires. The engine is a rebuilt 235 with Holley Carb and split straight header, cam, auxiliary cooler and far more power than and torque than a stock 140hp 235. All of the electronics are new throughout with a Painless wiring loom and everything works perfect. The interior is bare bones and raw, there is no sound deadening, door cards, window winders or headliner. There is a oil pressure, water temp, and voltage gauges behind the original dash along with speakers and a updated built in ipod integration hidden in the glove box. There is a new adjustable steering column that has been painted to match the patina of the rest of the car that adapts to the original steering wheel. There is a new 3 speed floor shifter and the seat has been recovered in the correct tan vinyl. The old treasure chest in the bed hides the fuel tank.
