2002 Jaguar X-Type 4 Door Sedan - AWDNO RESERVE Bought in 2007 with less than 40,000 miles. It had front and left side damage. No structural damage. Replaced panels and had professionally painted. Have driven over 100,000 near trouble-free miles since buying. 2 years ago, replaced nearly all suspension arms due to tires wearing prematurely. Installed new tires and realined. Brakes are good. Tires look near new still. Have always changed oil between 5,000 - 7,000 miles with Mobile-1 Full Synthetic Oil. Engine needs no extra oil between changes and sounds like new (no unusual tick/click etc.). Check engine light turns on occasionally (and has since I bought it), but will turn itself off after a few drive cycles. When I read the code in the past, it had to do with an oxygen sensor reading. Since it turns itself back off, I never worried about it. Right now the only thing the car needs is new front wheel bearings. There is no immediate need to replace bearing, but they have been getting louder over time. I've bought new wheel bearings and will include them with the sale. I just never had a chance to install them. The reason I am selling is because the clear coat is peeling and it has a few rust spots. I've included close-up pictures of the paint that is peeling. Mechanically, this car is in excellent shape. Interior is in good shape for it's age. There are a few cracks in the wood clearcoat on the dash and I've included a few close-up pictures to show this.
