2nd owner, no smoking beautiful interior. I bought this car from an airline pilot who regularly parked it in his hanger. I've kept it garaged and covered for the almost four years I've owned it. Consequently the interior UV damage that we all expect in a car this age is almost non-existent and the exterior is in great shape with no dents or rust. The wheels are completely original and in great shape also. I've only driven it occasionally since purchase and now that I'm near retirement, the wife says I've got to downsize. I had the head gasket and the engine wiring harness professionally replaced using MB OEM parts right after I bought it. AC blows cold. The engine runs beautifully, the transmission shifts just fine with no signs of trouble or leakage. It glides down the road smoothly with functioning CC on Michelin tires with plenty of tread. The engine compartment and trunk are pristine. The car is totally original configuration, no junk modifications whatsoever. The only bodywork I've ever noticed is on the right rear door below the door handle, look closely and there are sanding scratches from a repair done before I bought it. Looks like the paint was blended in there and it appears to have peeled in three small spots on the rear fender and door. I've attached some pictures to show it is minor. The car needs no bodywork. No surprises here, the headliner is a little loose, the air pump can be heard running for the 60 seconds after cold start, the antenna is manual, the brake pad warning light just came on. This car is great example of the W124 series and will make someone an excellent ride. It is available to inspect/drive if anyone is in my area (PA). This is a relisting due to the fact the winning bidder decided to leave the planet and only after repeated attempts at contact finally had the courtesy to let me know he was backing out.
