Hello , I have my 1968 Camaro SS up for sale . I have owned this car for almost 13 yrs. I bought it off the show room floor of Ferman Chevrolet in Tampa Fl. It was on their show room for 11 yrs prior to my purchase. The car was freshened up before it was put on the show room but its not restored.Motor was rebuilt by dealer. The metal is all orig. and the car has no body filler, rock solid and straight as you would like. The paint is a 25-30 yr old lacquer paint job and still looks great. Is it perfect, no but it still shines great. Has very small scratches and most can only be seen under a florescent light. The motor is all orig.and correct except the carb.It runs better than any 350 I ever owned. It has a x pipe exhaust sounds nice with hooker coated headers. I have orig. manifolds,distributor, support bars under hood.Trunk is solid as well as floor boards. All bushings were replaced, New tires. Car has factory power disc brakes, p.s., tilt steering wheel, wood wheel, hounds tooth seats with deluxe door panels, rare speed warning indicator buzzer and it works!! the 4 speed trans shifts great, smooth. The rear end has a factory 12 bolt 373 gear. Under the dash is like new All the wiring is perfect nothing hacked or chopped up and every thing works on this car like it was new. This is an exceptional car, not a recent restored fresh paint that will self destruct in 6 months after you buy it. Not even a pimple of rust any where. I have hardly driven it since i bought it, so its up sale. If your looking for a nice driving good old camaro you wont find a better one. Mechanically needs nothing. email Dave with any questions
