Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a super nice 1983 Chevy C10 pickup. The truck was bought from an older lady who moved down to FL when her husband passed away. It was rust free with only 44000 miles. It was restored in Sept/Oct 2015. I have put about 5000 miles on it since the build. Below are all the specs. Exterior:All original metal except the tailgate (LMC)Truck had rear roll pan welded in, door handles shaved, drip rail moldings shaved, and repainted. The body was solid to begin with. There is no fiberglass over rust on this truck. All body work was done right. Painted triple black and high solid clear. Sanded and buffed. Hood had a gray metallic center painted then cleared over at a later time. Under the hood and door jambs/inside of doors were also painted, then the motor/tranny were installed. Firewall was shaved where the a/c & heater box was installed. All of the exterior parts came from LMC. This includes front bumper, side moldings, wheel arch moldings, headlights, taillights, headlight bezels, grill, grill moldings, cab back panel molding. The inner fenders were also replaced and painted to match.Paint still shines perfectly however there are some small imperfections due to using the truck. small scratches are visible here and there. Nothing that couldn't be fixed if you put the time into it. No major dents or anything like that. Interior:Interior was black to begin. It has an original dash. Door panels are replacements from LMC. Seat was reupholstered using vinyl and suede inserts. It has a nice Grant steering wheel (no horn). Other new interior parts from LMC include carpet, carpet moldings, headliner, seat belts, window switches, dash bezel, dash molding, rearview mirror, interior cab moldings, door panel handles, trim, pull straps. It has a stock radio with aftermarket speakers and two 6x9 in speaker boxes behind the seat (this limits on how far back you can put the seat). All of the weatherstripping was replaced including the vent window seals, window channel seals, and door window seals. All of these came from LMC. The windshield seal and rear window seals were replaced before i got the truck. Suspension Brakes Wheels:Truck was lowered using Mcgaughy's 4.5/6 kit. Shocks came from Belltech. Truck handles great however the tire does touch the inner fender sometimes on a big bump. Spacers would solve this. Everything else is stock. I do have a set of new polyurethane control arm bushings that i was going to install. They will be included. Stock rear drum brakes with new shoes and new pads and rotors up front. Wheels and tires were also bought brand new. They are Boss 338 20" up front and 22" rear wrapped in Yokohama Parada Spec-X. Engine Tranny Exhaust:Well here we go! This is why i love this truck. It had a freshly rebuild motor dropped in after the paint job. Motor is a 400 cubic inch bored out to 406 with 10:1 compression, double hump heads that were ported and have 2.02/1.60 valves and upgraded springs, comp cam with .582 lift, crane 1.5 ratio roller rockers, mallory distributor, edelbrock Intake and Demon 750 cfm carb. Carb could use some more tuning but it runs good the way it is now. Timing is locked in at 38*. It has a 4 row aluminum radiator and a canton overflow tank. Mechanical fan cools it. Temp is always at 160-170 degrees. Tranny is a short shaft TH350 that was also freshly rebuild to handle 600 hp. It has an ATI 10" 3200 stall converter, custom driveshaft, and the rear is a stock 12 bolt. Rpm at 70 is 2600. Exhaust consists of long tube headers, flowmaster cats, bullet mufflers, 4' tips exiting out the side and heat wrapped.. All 2.5" and sound awesome. Overall its a great running truck and with a little more time and elbow grease could be a show truck. Now the bad. The oil pressure and engine temp gauges sometimes do not work (the aftermarket ones under the dash), the tach sometimes jumps all over the place. I believe both of these are due to a bad ground. The stock gauges do not work. The speedo and the clock does work. The power windows are a little slow. The driver and passenger window do have some scratches due to being 33 years old. Its missing a lower steering column cover and a dome light. The wiper switch is not hooked up. The tailgate does not open using the handle, something broke inside. You can still open it with a screw driver. Due to lack of time I'm not enjoying the truck the way its support to be enjoyed thats why I'm selling. Please ask any and all questions. Its located in zip 18940. Pickup preferred but i will ship anywhere and can arrange it.. Paypal deposit of $500 within 24 hours and Cash or certified check from a major bank on pickup or within 7 days. Please do not bid if you're not planning on buying.
