I bought this 2003 HONDA ODYSSEY with the impression it needed a high speed sensor & it was good to go well that didn't work. Now there is no engine lights but the van won't shift into REVERSE or DRIVE. The car just goes into park & neutral. I therefore didn't go any further. Its sold as is no warranty. The odyssey runs great & starts fine. The car has a lot of maintenance, Timing belt was done around 100,000 miles the battery & tires are close to new, I noticed the thermostat was replaced. The lady who owned this kept up the maintenance. I'm a mechanic & I can most likely answer your questions. I believe the trany is bad but it could need something else to make it work. Everything else including the doors & air conditioning work.
