Vehicle Detail

1970 Mustang Mach 1- All Matching numbers! 351 Cleveland- 4 speed Hurst close ratio- 3.50 rear end. Original, Shaker hood and scoop, rear window louvers and spoiler, fold down rear seats, tachometer, manual steering, front disk breaks from factory. 70,000 miles 90% original paint, some blending on passenger door, but can’t find any evidence of an accident. Both doors open and shut perfectly. Some minor surface rust around marker lights and tail lights. Like I said it is original paint, took care of a couple spots under Mach 1 molding. Have pictures of trunk area, but can't put anymore on here. email me and I can send. Interior is great, all gauges work, clock works when it is in the mood. New Carpet. Repaired speaker holes inside rear quarter panel, not notable but I can tell. Major Body panels and floors are in great shape. Everything is matching numbers. Magnum 500 wheels are not original; the spare might be original. Original glass except front windshield. 90% original- I put 2 ½ stainless exhaust with Magna Flow mufflers and correct brackets and tips. Fuel lines change to stainless and new sending unit and fuel pump. Original 4300 Carburetor rebuilt. Change shocks to the Koni Shelby shocks. Only thing I was going to do next is stainless brake lines and new flexible rubber lines. No need to sell this car, I Love it. I think it needs to go to the right home. Someone to either restore the paint or keep it just the way it is. Runs Great, no mechanical issues. Haven’t seen another Mustang this original for this price, not in a collection. I know what I have. The price reflects everything I have seen out there. No lowball offers, No trades. No test rides, I will drive you if your serious. Will not pull the car out on rainy days. $28,000. just to answer some remarks about the paint, it is 90% original paint and all original sheet metal in great shape, it is 47 year old paint and is between a 5-10 footer. If it was repainted you wouldn't know what is underneath and I would sell it for an extra $25k, go buy a restomod fastback with new paint and non matching number car if that's what is important to you.
