It's in good shape for its age. It had a Maaco respray a few years ago, when some minor body issues were repaired. It has a newer top with an upgraded glass rear window. It has upgraded tires and newer wheels, and the suspension had multiple parts replaced a couple of years ago. The engine is strong and doesn't burn oil. It has the normal cracks in the interior plastic and the cloth seats are in good shape under the custom Wet Okole seat covers. It has an Alpine receiver and trunk-mounted amp. The only things "power" are the brakes; the windows and steering are both the "armstrong" type (and work fine). As for "issues", besides the minor cosmetic ones you'd expect on a vehicle this age, the only two that we're aware of are an electrical gremlin, where the wipers will sometimes work, and sometimes not, and the engine dropping its revs too low on trailing throttle and dying when coasting to a stop. We haven't worried about the wiper issue since it's been a fair-weather toy for the past few years. The engine issue is probably the mass air flow sensor needing to be cleaned, but we've learned to watch the tach and it always starts back up. Finally, the battery is less than two years old, but we've let it run down several times this year (from not driving it), so it probably should be replaced. On the plus side, it's a kick to drive, it's been well taken care of for the last twenty-plus years (as long as my wife's owned it), it's never been raced and it's pretty much unmolested. Since this is the first time we're listing it, we've put a reserve on it. We are not offering any sorts of warranty or guarantees - it's a solid car, but we're not mechanics. We're only getting rid of it because we don't drive it very often and we're not as flexible as we once were. And the normal stuff applies - I can help with loading, but shipping is on you (if you want it shipped) or you can probably drive it anywhere. The plates expired last month, so you'll need to bring your own. $500 deposit via paypal if you're the successful bidder, check with the spouse before you bid on something you can't afford, and you'll get the title when the cashiers check clears the bank or the cash is in my hands.
