Vehicle Detail
1977 mg midget: This great little roadster is an old friend that has been cared for, garaged, and mechanically well taken care of. The Midget was entered into the Owls Head Museum car show, photographed, and driven back home to its heated garage. I just don’t have time to enjoy it at present with my work and travel. I could use some more garage space, and only have used the MG to get an ice crème in the summer months with my wife. We would go to a cocktail party or two w/ the top down, enjoy the vintage analog sound of the stereo system. This little MG purs. It would be wonderful to do some minor body work, as the side panel has started to rust (minor)-the frame, undercarriage, and all components are rust free. The electrical updates-were done by a pro MG mechanic, and carburetor work as well. I don’t know much more than that. I purchased the car from a museum collector, who worked on MG’s exclusively. I really don’t know more than that. As this is a hobby for me. The price is set low for a great little charmer that is indeed reliable, mechanically sound, and works! Respectfully please do not inundate me with technical questions-I can only say she runs, drives, and works as a reliable fun car. She doesn’t smoke, cough, or struggle. It is super fun to drive. The roof doesn’t leak, and is a new. There are no rips in the interior, and all the gauges work. The reserve is set low to where I am not peppered w/ questions that I can’t answer. What I can do is showcase the bill of sale from 2013 at the musuem. I paid 4,850 for this gem. Its set to sell for about half of what I paid for it-I just need the space for a boat project.
