1998 ford explorer strong running 4.0 sohc v6. similar horsepower to the 5.0 v8, averages about 19mpg. very comfortable ride, and fantastic in the snow. has aftermarket mickey thompsom black classic II rims with wrangler tires with about half tread life. has a cat back exhaust with a flow master 40 stainless muffer. has a nice deep, not over powering tone. k&n air filter. very very well maintained oil changed every 3000 miles like clock work. in the same family for over a decade. newer transmission than stated odometer miles. all functions on the truck work including the a/c and all hud displays. 4wd high and low, as well as auto all function as they should. starts every time.
