I did the coil over conversion for my car and I love it because no more about $8000 to fix the ABC failure. If you don’t believe me how much this cost to fix on any Mercedes with the ABC system just google it. It’s a nightmare and spending so much money. I did the coil over conversion and I spend $4000 to get it done. Lifetime warranty if any issues comes up. No issues at all and drives great! No more ABC failure!! They reprogrammed the screen doesn’t show ABC failure. The company did the coil over conversion was Rebuild Master Tech in Florida. They are ex Mercedes mechanic so they know there Mercedes very good. The only reason I am selling my car is because I am expecting a baby. Therefore, no more 2 sitters anymore. I also updated the front and rear bumper. Front bumper has the SL65 and rear has the SL63 both OEM bumpers from Mercedes place. I baby this car and I did so many updates, see below. I believe when I got my brand new brake pads & rotors need to reset the program on the brake. no issues with the new OEM brakes. It doesn't bother me so I just let it go. I believe it just needs to reset the programming. Also, need brake fluid flush. You will not found any SL55 AMG did this much update on their car. If they haven’t trust me, you will be spending thousands and thousands of dollars. If you see a car less then this price and haven’t had nothing done yet, expect to pay close to $10,000 plus. Especially if the ABC system on the car goes out, you are in some serious issues! The car mileage 128,xxx. Engine & transmission are great no issues! Just some wears on the car being aged but overall definitely you will get heads turned while your driving the car! These cars can last for a very long time if you maintain them very well, which I did. Made the price very low. This car will sell fast!
