Vehicle Detail
I bought this Jeep three years ago, spent the first year restoring and the last two years enjoying. Never thought I would sell it but things change, so here it is. I got the Jeep in Arizona, so of course no rust. The previous owner had the engine, transmission and transfer case rebuilt at 183K, ODO now shows 208K. This is what I have done to it. Custom Paint – Paint has a slight texture(NOT like a truck bed coating) and has a "wet" look New Tires All New Brakes – EVERY brake part replaced New Front Seats New Webber carb. New Radiator and Heater Core New Center Console New Boss Stereo with Eight Speakers New Bumpers Completely Rebuilt Rear End New Bestop Supertop and Doors – Just Installed This Jeep runs great, starts every time and the four-wheel drive works as it should. Every gauge and switch works. This has been a summer only Jeep so it comes with a bikini top and a heavy duty waterproof emergency cab cover. The only problem is a minor leak at the power steering gear box input shaft, it is no more than one drop after driving. I have a new seal, just not physically able to repair it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask! I’ve had a few questions about the paint and body. There was virtually no rust on the body. A previous owner had replaced the two rear corners, it was obviously a professional repair, I didn’t even know until my painter showed me where it was welded. My guy used no more than one cup of body filler on each corner. The paint was stripped to bare metal then primed with POR-15 self-etching primer, three base coats and two clear coats. Last year I had a rock bounce off the hood and crack the windshield, the paint was not damaged at all, that is why I chose this painter and paint, it’s tough! Sorry, I don't have any pictures of the work performed, never had any intention to sell.
