Blue vw beetle 1.9tdi for sale by owner. I'm being very honest In this listing. This car has seen better days. I'll go through the good points, then the not so good... Good.The engine. It has over 205k miles on it, but it is running real good. Starts first time, every time. Sounds good. Air con works. Blowing cool. Could do with a recharge to make it super cold. But it works.No serious body damagePassed vehicle emission check just a few weeks agoHas life on all tiresHad relay box replaced a few weeks back and a new batteryRear brake pads were replaced a year agoGreat alloy wheelsThe car drivesRadio cassette works All electricals work (power windows, sunroof, all lights, radio)Clean title in hand. Not so good...Check engine light is on. I suspect an electrical fault somewhere. I'm not an expert - just my opinionAbs and brake lights are on. Again. I suspect an electrical fault. As mentioned above, relay box was replaced recently. After it was done, air con stopped working. It needed the relay to be replaced. I suspect brake relay needs attention. Just my opinion. When braking hard, dips slightly on front right wheel. Brakes do work. On rare occasions on accelerating, up charge can be longer than expected. I.e. Revs to 3k rather than 2kExterior. Only a couple of dents. One just in front of rear wheel arch (driver side) and a minor one on passenger door. Paint is peeling in many places. Considered respraying at one time, but did not. Interior. Everything works, but a lot of loose fittings - headlight switch, driver door handle, power windows switch, headlight switch, broken passenger door handle, missing passenger entry seat jump lever) The car could do with a real good clean also. Inside and out. Overall... this car does run. It starts, it drives, it stops. It has seen better days. It's untidy. Outsideooks good from a distance, but up close, paint is peeling in a lot of areas - see photos. Interior. Again, needs a lot of tlc. If you buy it, follow up on the brake and check engine lights. I suspect electrics - but I am not an expert. I do know that the brakes do work. I'm putting this car on at 1cent. I was offered $600 trade in. I'll take my chances on eBay. It is not advertised anywhere else. You win, it's yours. Payment is by PayPal beforehand. No. negotiations at time of pick up. I have been really honest in description. This is a 13year old car.
