DescriptionThis 1984 Volvo 240 recently passed rigorous Massachusetts state inspection.  178,244 miles.  Needs tires.  Mechanically, it runs, but needs the following work: air mass meter, flame trap; idle control valve needs cleaning.  Body has had recent work to prep for new paint job, thus the yellow primer that you see in the pics.  Restoration plans were abandoned when the front end was t-boned by another vehicle, which tore the bumper off.  The bumper was replaced, but hood alignmment is off, although it opens and closes just fine.  Entire front end body work was slightly shifted, but frame is fine.  As part of previous restoration, floors have been repaired.  Some of the interior plastics are cracked or broken.  Nice Pioneer 4-speaker stereo.  Please expand all of the pics to see condition.  It can be started, but may take a few tries.  It should run just fine if you take care of the issues I listed above.  I don't recommend driving it away; better to transport it.  I can recommend a reliable transport company.  Picking up or transporting is buyer's responsibility.  Car is also for sale locally; I reserve the right to cancel any time.  Payment due within 7 days.  If I do not receive payment or communication by 7 days, I will cancel and re-list.  Thanks for looking!
