I am selling my 1968 Cougar. The interior is restored. New headliner, new visors, new upholstery, new carpet, new dash and deck. Side panels restored and new back deck with tuck and roll. It has a hand painted horn button, and the chrome on the steering wheel has been re-chromed. However, the wheel itself needs to restored or replaced as the paint is coming off. The body is straight with min. rust and damage. The hood has a small dent and pictures are all included of any damage. It is a good 10 footer. It runs really well and whenever I take it out I get tons of comments. The engine compartment needs to be painted and restored. The windshield washer box needs to be replaced. The engine is a 280, 8 cylinder and was rebuilt right before I purchased the car. It had 200 miles on it when I bought the car 6 years ago. I have maybe put 1000 miles on it since I bought it.. The previous owner also had just put in a new transmission. It has an automatic transmission, and is the regular coupe NOT an XR-7. I am selling because I am putting my money into another area of my life and have lost interest in completely restoring the car.
