Vintage Motorcars is very proud to present this 1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee.
I don’t have to explain the attraction to the Super Bee for the typical Mopar fan, and most likely if you are a ‘car fanatic’ in any way, shape or form; you are very aware of how rare and cool this Bee really is.
This classic Bee went through a restoration in which the owners were extremely careful to retain as much originality as possible. The car has been driven a mere 300 miles since the restoration was performed, and looks absolutely amazing. The car was professionally repainted to the correct original colors of F8 – Dark Green Metallic and X9 – Black. This is a factory VO2 color code which stands for 2-tone paint (painted roof). This is a very rare option, and really sets it apart from any other ’69 Bee on the market. The paint is beautiful with only one small chip on the trunk decklid. This is something that could easily be touched up. The door jambs and trunk jambs are all original paint, and show just how well this car was preserved throughout the years. Oh yea… did I mention this car has ALL its original sheet metal? How rare is that for a 60’s Mopar?
The ORIGINAL numbers matching 383 Big Block V-8 (E63) was removed from the car and restored. This is the 335hp with 4bbl High-Performance motor offered in 1969. The engine ran so well that the previous owner decided not to tear it down, so he just did a clean-up and full service / compression check. The motor runs absolutely like it did in 1969. You don’t have to worry about what backyard mechanic had their hands inside the motor throughout the years. This one is still together from the Dodge factory in St. Louis. The engine compartment is stunning, and was completely repainted when the motor was pulled.
The ORIGINAL numbers matching 4-Speed manual transmission (D21) was removed and professionally rebuilt just to make sure there are no problems in the future. This baby shifts exactly like you would expect. No missed shifts, no grinding in gears, no issues at all. Of course… the legendary Pistol Grip shifter is in place to show off to everyone that peeks inside. The clutch was also recently replaced to ensure years of problem-free driving.
The interior is absolutely like new. This car features new upholstery in the original colors of 2-tone green over the original bench seat. The factory Rallye dash is in great condition with a replacement dash pad, and instruments are clear with no hazing or fogging. The speedometer was professionally rebuilt by Bob’s Speedometer Shop in Howell, MI and calibrated correctly. The carpet was all replaced as well as the headliner, visors, headrests, door handles and window cranks. The door panels were restored, and look great. Even the original AM radio was retained, and works just the way it should.

This car also features power steering, power brakes (front disc), Scat Pac and Magnum Wheels. The underbody, floors and frame are very clean and rust-free. The fuel tank and sending unit were recently replaced so you don’t have to worry about any sediment sitting in the bottom of the tank.
