This is your opportunity to own an exceptionally low mileage (less than 1.5K annual miles) classic Mercedes convertible. Original owner for the majority of it's life resided in Nashville, TN, with current residency being in a non-smoker DFW home. Service records maintained and on file back to April 1989. Original smoke silver metallic paint with chocolate leather interior and rear seats. I have the original rear factory panel if you'd like to take out the rear seats. All original equipment including original Becker radio and alloy wheels. Both soft top and removable hard top in great condition, with rolling stand and cover for hard top. It is time to pass this great car on to another home. My schedule does not allow me to drive this car as it should be driven, and my son just turned 16 so I need to find this car a safe place! The car drives like a dream and will be a joy to own. Cars of this age inherently require some minor repairs. Any other listing you may see on eBay that are absent any issues aren't being forthright. If you're a perfectionist, you will want to correct the following known items:- the car idles high, which is a common issue with this make and model. The Mercedes dealership identified that the idle control unit needs to be replaced.- the power antenna override switch does not operate.- the passenger-side door guard on the front quarter panel is missing (not reflected in the pictures).- there are very minor door dings on the passenger side door. All of these repair items have been taken into account with the listing price. You will be hard pressed to find a this vintage car at this mileage and price.
