The car is in great condition overall. It has been stored in dry conditions and has extremely little rust. Multiple mechanics and a car broker has inspected the car and have only spotted a few places where the car is not in excellent condition. There are minor (unnoticeable from more than a foot or two) scratches in a few places and the steering wheel is worn (the original is not currently being used but we have it and will pass it along upon sale). Otherwise, the interior and exterior are in cherry condition. The seats had seat covers for decades and look like they haven't ever been used. The engine was rebuilt in 1994 and has had further work done since then to bring the engine into great shape--this is now ready to be an every day driver. However, the engine was rebuilt in 1994 (and has had further work put in recently to bring the carburetors and exhaust system into great shape) and the car has been driven less than 2,000 miles/year for the past 10 years, possibly longer. I am happy to clarify any further questions on the phone. To give some anecdotal measure of the car's value: a professional car broker inspected the car and immediately located a buyer for it. The broker's offered price is my reserve price. Based on my estimates of their targeted profit margin, I conservatively estimated the price range in which the buyer made his/her offer and put the Buy It Now price at the very low end of that range.
