1960 R60/2. Matching original numbers in good running and nice overall original condition. Some light surface corrosion. Wheels have moderate rusting and flaking; Tank appears to have older repaint with poor pinstripe and minor scratches but overall in nice condition. No service records so no slinger history, but appears to have been maintained well. I performed the following maintenance since purchasing in April, 2016: Carbs disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt with new brass floats; seat recovered and new silent block installed; new grips, clutch and throttle cables installed; new 6v Shorai LI battery (I know, but it works great); Fuel tank interior de-rusted and new fuel lines and filters installed; installed turn signal switch, flasher relay and new Hella (genuine) bar-end signals; changed all fluids and greased rear splines; replaced points, plugs and condenser and timed ignition; Installed new Heidenau K34 tires, tubes and rim strips front and rear; Replaced entire wiring harness with new harness from Benchmark (because I shorted the old harness with that new battery). Not working - neutral light, headlight (It has a 6v halogen headlight and was working recently - I will replace bulb and check wiring); horn (works on bench with battery - I will check leads). Speedo needle jumps all over the place but odometer registers correctly. Side stand is not mounted properly. The motorcycle starts easily, idles evenly, runs strong and shifts smoothly. Front brake is abysmal. Rear is better. I ride it in rotation so it gets ridden at least 4 or 5 times a week and mileage will increase. I reserve the right to end auction prior to reserve being met if sold locally. Nail key, original spare ignition key and tool box key included. There is no spare tool kit and the tool roll shown in pictures is not included. I will test, order replacement parts and sort this out but probably not within the auction time frame. My apologies to those bidding and watching. It is a 1968 model. If this caused any confusion I will permit retraction of any bids prior to this note. I am sorry for any confusion. On Sep-24-16 at 09:48:21 PDT, seller added the following information: VERY IMPORTANT NOTE 09/24/16 - I removed the timing cover to diagnose the no-spark issue and found that the lower wiring harness into and out of the generator shorted. I will permit retractions of bids, cancel the auction, replace the harness and damaged generator components and re-list, or sell as-is to the highest bidder. I will contact the high bidder (and only above-reserve bidder) directly to discuss.
