Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1973 Ford Bronco. It has been painted CAMO and the clear coat is peeling on the hood and top of the front fenders. It has a nice running 302 that appears to be the original motor. It has an aluminum intake and 4 barrel Edelbrock carb. It has a manual transmission that is 3-speed on the column. It shifts fine but the clutch chatters a little (will probably need to be replaced before long). It has power steering but needs a new pump. The brakes are drum all the way around and they stop good. It has a body lift. Overall the body has very little rust. The front floor pans have been patched. The rest of the floors are in excellent condition. The rockers are good along with the door hanger posts and door strike posts. The doors are solid and line up decent but the driver's door is a little hard to open (the handle mechanism probably needs to be lubed). The inner fenders and kick panels are good. The front fenders are solid along with the grill. Hood is excellent. Rear quarters are nice and the top is good. Tailgate is nice and comes with spare tire attachment. The bottoms of both rear corner posts have been pushed into by the bumper but could be easily repaired. Overall the body on this bronco is very, very solid. It only has the auxiliary gas tank. The rear tank is missing. The 4-wheel drive works well but the body lift makes it a little hard to shift back into 2-wheel drive (the shifter hits the floor but it can be done). It may need to have the shifter heated and bent just a bit to make shifting easier. The tires all hold air but they are pretty worn. Wheels are in good shape. The seats have been recovered and are nice. The windshield is cracked. All other glass is good. This bronco has been used as a woods vehicle but has not been abused. It would make an excellent hunting rig as is, or would be a great candidate for a full restoration. Please ask any and all questions before placing a bid. I will answer questions as quickly as possible. I can take pictures of any part of the bronco you would like to see so please feel free to ask. Please make sure you have the funds available before you place a bid. Thanks for looking and good luck!!
