Vehicle Detail
Rare 5speed manual V70 wagon - 307,500 miles Bought this car about 9-10 months ago at an estate sale in Fort Myers after the previous owner sadly had passed away. It needed some love so I bought it because it is a stick shift. I am the third owner. The first owner had religiously maintained this car as you will be able to see from the CarFax report I ran when I first purchased the car. The second owner owned this car for a short period of time before health issues arose. The leather interior is in remarkably great shape. This car must have been garaged by the original owner. The driver's seat has a popped seam. I conditioned all of the leather when I first got it and it really looks great. This wagon also has a sunroof. I can provide the CarFax report to you as a PDF as well.I have done the following work on the vehicle:Replaced alternator with remanufactured unitReplaced battery with brand new Exide unitReplaced front/rear discs/pads with Bosch parts. Entire rear parking brake assembly was replacedBrand new Volvo muffler installedReplaced upper engine/motor mountReplaced coolant overflow bottle/level sensorBrand new glass headlight lensesBrand new RH side marker lensReplaced original AM/FM only radio with Volvo CD unitNew air filterAll new wipersThis is a very solid and reliable car. It starts every time. The AC is ice cold most of the time. I will say that sometimes it will go out. The check engine light is on. I have a code reader and can show you that it is an O2 sensor. From time to time the ABS light will go on. It's a wheel sensor that acts up. Some of the window switches are tricky. The passenger side rolls down but the driver has to roll it up. The right rear rolls down but sometimes takes a few tries to roll it back up. Like I said, it's a very reliable car - yes it has it's issues - but it has over 300,000 miles. I have driven this car back and forth to Jacksonville in recent months and it didn't miss a beat. Volvo built a quality car with these 5cyl V70s. You will see these cars with in excess of 400-500k miles.Clean - clear title in hand. I really like driving this car but I'm looking for something different. I breathed new life into it and I'm looking to move it along. I am open to reasonable offers. Please note: The Yakima racks and cross bars are NOT included in the sale. I have another vehicle that I will put those on.
