This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS was purchased by my 76 year old father in 2010. In 2011, his first initiative was he had the true SS 396 motor rebuilt by the famous Gettsford Machine Shop ($11,000 in reciepts). Keith Black Pistons, Ultra Pro Magnum Rockers, MagnaFlux Crank, etc. The 4:11 Rear end was rebuilt in 2012 by the Drag group King Auto. He had purchased both sets of wheels and tires for his liking. The true 69 Crager SS and also has the 70's Rally Dish with a larger rear tire on it (In Pic). He loved the 1969 Chevelle as he always felt it was the best year for the muscle car era. He had a wonderful plan to have the car perfect for his Grand sons to Cruise with him someday. He had one thing left to do and that was a new paint job (even though it had been painted in 2008 by the previous owner). With regrets only, he is unable to complete his dream due to an illness. I have been asked by my Sisters and Mom to help move the car onto another dreamer that shared the same interests. Love to move it. (913) 706 8752
