I purchased this car 1999 right here in Little Rock. I did all the work myself. if you have any questions I can answer them. I restored this car in 2009 then drove it all over on a Five month tour from Little Rock to Texas all the way down to Miami Fl. and I had not one bit of trouble avg 17-18 mpg. I installed a 20 gal fuel tank because I knew I was going on the road. I painted it the original color and used PPG paint base clear. the original door tag is still on the car and was not removed. The stripes are even painted on. I did change the color of the interior from blue to white. I also added the 4 speed transmission. I install power disk brakes from a 68 mustang and they work great. The wheels are Original Magnesium wheels NOT aftermarket wheels. The whole front suspension was redone also in 09. This past winter I had the engine rebuilt and still has a warranty until Jan 2017. My car is NOT a GT, I did that for my taste also the hood and trunk panels. The car needs nothing and is very, very dependable. I enjoy driving this car. NO TRADES.
