Vehicle Detail
Up for sale with is my 1977 CB750 K7. I've owned this bike for a couple of years now. Over the last ~year it underwent a restoration/mild customization. Recent new parts include euro bars, bar-end signals, alloy headlight ears, custom taillight, velocity stacks, alloy rims off of a CB750A, new progressive fork springs and new progressive 1204 rear shocks, new tapered steering bearings, new 530 chain and sprockets, new throttle and clutch cables, and new stainless front brake hoses. The tank paint is original and excellent, the sidecovers are new reproductions with original badges. The gauges have some very slight fading on the red portions, but are very clean for being almost 40 years old. All the lights, locks, electrics, switches, etc work properly. The stock exhaust is very clean outside. The end caps have been opened up for a slightly louder/deeper exhaust note. Nothing too obnoxious, just a nice rumble over stock. There are a few small negatives (it is a 40 year old bike after all). There's some pitting on the fender chrome, and some slight pitting on the fork tubes that doesn't really show up in the pictures. The aftermarket seatcover wasn't a perfect fit, although it does look good. The engine weeps a very very small amount of oil from the right side cam puck. By very very small I mean that it doesn't even weep enough to form a drip, just enough to attract dirt. I've been wiping it off at the end of a ride and it hasn't gotten any worse. It's a good looking, good running CB750 ready to ride and enjoy. Thanks to the new progressive suspension and tapered steering bearings it handles great. It is a 40 year old bike, however, so it's being sold strictly as-is and as-pictured. Clean/clear title in my name. Cash at pickup within 7 days of the end of the listing unless you contact me before buying for alternative arrangements. Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding.
