2001 Audi TT Convertible. Bought it about 5 years ago and have put about 10,000 miles on it. The owner prior to me was a middle-aged architect who was trading up to a Mercedes convertible...so my guess is that he was appropriately kind in terms of both service and driving technique. It is certainly fun to drive and we have enjoyed it..it is a well-behaved ride; never did anything that it wasn't supposed to. About as close to a motorcycle as you can get on four wheels. Just replaced the clutch and pressure plate and updated the exhaust...total for that was $2800. Both were essentially OEM replacements...slight upgrade on the clutch, but nothing drastic. Exhaust issue was a paper-thin flex-joint that was leaking at a weld; the puffing was annoying. Timing belt has NOT been changed..as that's generally a 75k item. Tire are OK, nothing special. Only cosmetic issue beyond just a few paint chips is that the wheel centers are de-chroming (see fifth from last few photo). Body is very nice...hesitate to say "perfect", but it nice. Top is in good condition also. Never driven in snow while I've had it...just used it as a summer-fun buggy. Has the standard dead pixels in the dash display...that's how you know it's an Audi... still legible but certainly not perfect. It runs and drives exactly as it should. If the wife wants a cool daily driver for the summer/fall, this would fill that role very nicely. ****Please note, this car is a 2001 and as such, some financial institutions will NOT finance it...[specifically Bill C's Credit Union in Maryland]...so please make sure that your financing is in place prior to bidding.**** Happy Bidding....
