1958 Chevrolet Impala two-door hardtop, 283 cubic inch V8 2 speed powerglide transmissionEngine has fresh rebuild and is ready to be installed. Transmission is complete, however it is unknown if it has been, or needs any work internally. Both the engine and transmission are numbers matching to this car.The restoration has been ongoing for several years. The frame had been sandblasted, epoxy primed and painted in gloss black. All suspension components have been replaced including springs, shocks control arm bushings, tie rods, ball joints etc.. The body of the vehicle has also been sandblasted, epoxy primed and covered with three coats of high build primer. There is very little body fill anywhere on the vehicle. Any rust was cut out and replaced. New body mounts were installed and the body is now mounted back on the frame.Fenders, hood, trunk, and doors were also sandblasted, epoxied, and covered with high build primer. They have also been installed on the vehicle for storage purposes. All body panels are straight and ready for block sanding and paint. The vehicle comes with a large inventory of parts. The owner of the vehicle purchased all new chrome for the exterior including side moldings, rocker moldings, door handles and locks, window trim, bumper extensions, and headlamp bezels. There are also brand new taillights still in the box, and a complete new wiring harness with fuse block. Complete set of seat covers, headliner, carpet, door panels, and rear quarter trim in teal and silver. Original seats area also intact and in working order. They will need cleaned up and recovered with the covers provided. All brand new instrument panel new in box, along with the original. New interior chrome, door handles window cranks and all moldings and weather strips also supplied. New gauges also still in original boxes. Vehicle also comes with 14” aluminum 5 spoke wheels. Everything is intact for this vehicle and would make and excellent restoration project.
