I'm selling my Jeep CJ7, it is a 1986 base model in pristine condition. The engine is a fresh rebuild. It has an automatic transmission that was rebuilt 10k miles ago and works flawlessly. I bought it from my then sister in law, the original owner, and have owned it ever since. I don't exaggerate when I say that this has been a 25 year project of passion. I figured I'd be buried in this thing so I left no bolt unturned and spared no expense. You will notice in the photos lots of stainless steel bolts and nuts, every one I took out, which were many, were replaced with SS. I kept the vehicle in a garage and frequently under a cover which is included. Equally important is how much I've done to this car, in short, everything. The motor is a brand new Jasper with the enhanced cam (made in the USA), the engine has a 3 year comprehensive and transferable warranty. Anything, anywhere in the US, at all goes wrong with it and it gets fixed or replaced during the first 3 years. The work was done by Auto Repairwerks INC. in Weaverville North Carolina. My vision was to make this a solid vehicle, I wanted to keep the essence of the CJ7 alive at the core. There is very little surface rust underneath, no pitting. The body is clean with good paint. The weather stripping was replaced with the paint job and is in great shape, no leaks. The steering is tight, I can't remember the components that were used to refresh and enhance the factory issue. There is no computer, I did the Nutter-bypass and got rid of the computer as well as all smog equipment. I have a stack of receipts to support all this work. The odometer reads 179k, when I got her it read 79K. In 25 years I put 100K miles on it, that averages to 4k miles per year. It was never my daily driver, I've always had a more practical ride as a primary. Importantly, the miles were babied, with just enough 4 wheel engagement to keep the fluids moving. I probably have 25 hours of easy 4 wheeling mileage. No rocks or extreme stuff, just a little mud and gravel. I was never big on the 4 wheeling world, I just like owning a CJ.
