1998 Chevy Express 2500 Cargo Van I bought this van from a local plumbing company that was going out of business. This has definitely been a work van and has a lot of cosmetic issues. The Van Starts and engine runs and sounds good. The transmission shifts good. There are a lot of miles on the odometer 259,668; however the seller claimed the motor was rebuilt. I can’t confirms that as I have no paperwork on it. As you can tell this van is equipped with lots of Adrian Steel toolboxes with drawers and bins of all different sizes. Safety bulkhead wall to keep any debris out of driver’s cabin and It also has the ladder rack on the roof. I have a great Ebay business selling small shippable items but rarely list motor vehicles. My mechanical knowledge is limited but I wanted prospective buyers to know the exact condition of the vehicle so I took it to my local garage for a mechanical evaluation. The following is a list of all the bad items they found: 1. Broken rear inner door handle. 2. Wiper cowl Broken / Missing. 3. Both outer tie rods need to be replaced. 4. Both idler arms bad. 5. Drivers seat damaged and stitched together 6. Drag link to pitman arm bad. 7. Right lower ball joint bad. 8. Front rotors warped. 9. Front tires bad. 10. Steering gear box leaks. 11. Needs left upper control arm bushings. 12. Right side door lock missing. 13. Side door handle missing 14. Differential cover leak. 15. Drivers side door panel broken in pieces. 16. Left power window inoperable. 17. HVAC / Blend Door Inoperable. It does not blow very hard from vents. 18. Oil leak rear of engine ( Sending Unit) 19. Power door locks Inoperable. 20. Windshield cracked. 21. Right side hazard Inoperable. Buyer must pick up or the Van at my address in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Fort Smith is located in Western Arkansas. Approximately 2.5 hours west of Little Rock or 1 hour south of Fayetteville. Winning bidder must make full payment on vehicle within 10 days of auction close. Buyer can bring me cash on pickup or mail me a check or cashier’s check before pickup to allow time for payment to clear before I release vehicle and sign title over.
