Vehicle Detail
1997 Suzuki TL1000s, dark green, gold rims. Runs strong, great shape! Carefully maintained, always garaged, adult owned and well kept, this beautiful lightweight 1000 cc v-twin performs as well as it ever did. These motors are pretty much bulletproof, and are great for anyone who likes the big twin feel and power delivery but doesn't like paying for the constant Ducati maintenance. Amazing sound, a lot of performance and character - for a modest amount of cash. Included are: Yoshimura mufflers - wonderful throaty sound and a few more HP Tank bra (not so much for the looks, but provides a wonderful knee-grip comfort) Original TL green magnetic tank bag Original solo seat Original steering shock absorber Stainless A&S rear stand Gearing lightly extended for more relaxed rpm at highway speed (and better fuel economy)(18/36 sprockets) Speedo Healer electronic speedometer calibrator Michelin Pilot Power tires 120/70, 190/50, with plenty of thread left Dynabeads dynamic tire balancing D.i.d. x ring professional gold chain Deer whistles (don't laugh, I killed a deer on a bike once, just not this bike) Official complete shop manual by Suzuki. The bike has never been in an accident, except one push-over in a parking lot which resulted in a few minor scratches, barely visible in the pictures. Also the tank bag magnets marred the tank a bit. I have had this bike for years and never even thought of getting anything else, it performs so well! Strong engine, light weight, and excellent handling. I love this bike, will be hard to part with it! At the production time it was also quite an advanced design, so it still looks interesting and cool. For example, check out the red rear spring visible thru the right side of frame: the shock is a unique rotating type (fully adjustable just as the front upside down forks) - just one of the unique details on this bike.
