Offered for sale is my 1968 Mercedes 280sl. This car is complete as pictured, it runs, drives and shows very nicely. I added this car to my collection close to a decade ago and it has been garage kept since. There are some bubbling on top of the front left fender, this was there when I bought the car and it has remained like that since. The bubbling is insignificant and I decided to enjoy the car as it is. There is a very minor dent on the right fender. This is a good car for an almost 50 year old beauty that has never been restored. It can be enjoyed ASIS if you choose to, neither would it be a difficult car to restore. I believe the original color of this car was green as reflected on the dash panel. This fabric top is brow and in excellent condition. The Chrome work is in good condition all around with no rust, and very nice shine to all the pieces. The upholstery including the jump seat is in excellent condition with no rips. The roof lining for the hardtop is clean and has no tears. The woodwork is complete and in excellent original condition. Glass on this car is good, all around. All electrical equipment work as they should, including the radio The telescopic antenna is permanently extended and does not retract Tires are in excellent condition all around This car is mechanically sound with no known issues. This car is equipped with an upgrade of a more reliable Electronic ignition System, I also will include the point system that can easily be retrofitted if you later chose.
