This is a 1979 Chevy Silverado C10. It runs and drives good. It has a V8, 350, automatic, p/s, p/b, a.c., p/w, p/l, cruise. This is a fully loaded truck for a 1979 model. These trucks, being a shortbed, are becoming very popular and harder and harder to find. I have receipts totaling over $3000 of repairs and extras put on this truck through the years. I have a receipt for $2300 for a new GM engine, a receipt of over $800 for a rebuilt transmission, a receipt for $170 for a radiator, a receipt for brake work, which includes new pads, shoes, wheel cylinders, etc. The gentleman I bought the truck from in OK, had it for over 20 years and kept good records on it. The truck has 136,572 miles on it. The interior is in good condition, except the dash pad, which has a few cracks in it. It has a nice stereo with remote control. The body is straight. The paint has some scratches and niches in it and some fading. The hood is faded out. If I was going to keep the truck, I'd probably paint it to make it look nice.
