No excuses on this one.Great example of a perfectly restored Willy's M 38-A1 Army Jeep.I can not imaging the man hours invested in this vehicle. Previously owned by a former military man now in his 70s decided to sell.I'm now offering this beautiful example of American military history and proud to pass in on to someone that is particular and proud as the man who built it, wanting to own a very nice piece of American Military History.Along with this great vehicle are a stack of restoration receipts an operation and service manuals that add up to over $14000.00 and 19 years of meticulous restoration and ownership. The man hours put into this vehicle can not even be measured or converted into dollars. These projects are products of memories and passion which again is priceless. If you look at the detail of all things done to this vehicle you'll agree this was not done to complete a project, but to be restored with a whole lot of pride and a reminder of a past military career. You somehow feel different, there's something sacred about driving one of these vehicles, one feels the overwhelming sense of pride just setting behind the wheel.You'll see receipts that show that the entire body was removed and dipped and striped clean ,you'll see original, solid floor pans, you'll see receipts that show the motor was removed and professionally and completely rebuilt, costing $2400.00, you'll see a receipt for a operating communications radio costing $570.00, ( not connected due to FCC licensing regulations) a life time dipped, stripped and sealed fuel tank, the receipts go on and on showing the new owner of what actually was spent on the restoration of this fine vehicle.The detail is in the originality and is meant to be accurate and correct in every way. To make thing easier to start ( see photo ) because he had a bum foot, he devised a lever that, when pressed down activates the foot starter making it a lot more comfortable for him to start. Quite ingenious!
