This is a 2001 Honda Insight with a 5 speed manual transmission. The car is in excellent condition and gets incredible gas mileage. It has had one previous owner before me. I purchased it two years ago for a 150 mile round trip commute made 3 days a week. The only reason I am selling it is that I no longer make the commute and don't have a need for the extra car. I averaged about 47 mpg on my commute with a large road bike hitched to the back of the car. On trips without the bike it was easy to average low to mid 50's. The most vulnerable part of these cars is the engine assisting battery. However, the previous owner, had a brand new battery installed in 2012. The tires have just over 15,000 miles on them. Synthetic oil change under 1,500 miles ago. Car is ready to go and in great shape. Everything is fully functional - radio, a/c, heat, auto windows and locks, etc. Only blemishes are a coffee stain on the passenger seat and another stain on the platform of the hatchback area that you see in the pictures. Exterior is in great condition for a 15 yr old vehicle. There are a couple of minor blemishes and a small crack in the very lower flange of the front bumper. No blemishes visible from a distance of 5-10 ft. These cars are rare finds in themselves and in general it is nearly impossible to find this kind of gas mileage, reliability, low miles and great condition for this price.
