Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Super cool patina 1962 VW single Cab truck. Truck runs and drives great, very dependable and could be used as a daily driver. Formally, a VW restoration shop’s shop truck with vintage logoed still legible on sides. Very rust free other than a couple of small spots on the lower rockers and a couple of small spots in the treasure box. Gates are in great shape as is the bed of the truck. Truck has safari windows both front and back. Lowered with new disc breaks in front and new drum breaks in rear. New Fuchs replica wheels and new sport tires, Rides great for a lowered truck. Newer adjustable beam. New master cylinder, speedo cable, and front suspension new 1641 single port engine. PO said the Freeway flyer transmission had very low miles on it. Truck starts very easy and runs, drives, steers, shifts and stops great. All the lights and gauges work, wipers work great with new wiper blades and safari kit. This is a driver, not a show truck but it gets TONS of attention anywhere I go, so if you stop be prepared to talk. It is very hard to find a Split window single cab that isn’t either over restored or a rusted hulk of a project. This truck is ready to drive as is and enjoy the coolness or do a rolling restoration with something that you know isn’t missing half of what’s supposed to be included in the boxes. I am the owner of the truck. However, I just had surgery and hired a broker ( Greg Gearhead contact # 719-510-6272), to post the truck for sale while I was in recovery. He is a friend of mine and he still has ads up for the truck. I reserve the right to stop the auction early if the asking price is met prier to end of auction.
