This low mileage 1966 Sunbeam Tiger was totally dismantled over 30 years ago by the original owner who started to repair the rusted frame but passed away. I bought this car as a package deal to get another Tiger but do not have the ability or experience to do a proper restoration. This car was purchased by the gentleman I bought it from about a year ago, who rebuilt the motor and started to restore some of the pieces such as the radiator, overflow tank, etc. and other pieces you can see in the photos. The transmission was inspected and everything looked good and the front and rear seals were replaced at that time. He had a change in his plans and decided to sell the two barn find Tigers. This is a numbers matching car with all of the bits and pieces it was born with. According to the previous owner all of the parts are there except for misc. screws and hardware, the soft top material, door glass and some pieces that are too old and beyond repair. The body has had some rust repair done on the chassis by the original owner but as you can see in the photos there is the usual rocker panel (already cut out by the original owner) rust, around the headlights, a little in the trunk, floors etc. This numbers matching car would be a perfect candidate for restoration with a below market price. It appears to have it's original paint so you can see exactly what you are getting. Five American racing slotted wheels that were on the sister car will be included. This car is sold with a bill of sale only. I have no paper work, title or history on this car. I have given you all the information that I have regarding the history of this car.
