1963 Volkswagen Beetle Rebuilt 1200 40hp engine with 60's production number, not sure if it is the original engine but it has been in the car for the last 20 some years. Have rebuild paper work, engine runs and drives excellent with no engine smoke and very little oil leaks. Car runs drives and stops great, ready to get in and drive. Has newer tires with 90% tread on them. Heater all hooked up and working. New original style headliner and interior kit. 12 volt conversion was done, and done the correct way. Everything works except the radio. Have not spent any time as to why it does not work. Body and paint is good, car is an original Anthracite gray but looks to have had a repaint.Trim and chrome is in fair condition. Paint has had some paint brush touch in a few spots and body work on the doors is a little wavy but looks good. Tub is in excellent shape with no signs of rust. From the inside looks like the original sound deadening material with clean paint underneath. I know every VW beetle listed is a “California” car but this one has registrations from the late 80's to document this claim. I have also contacted the owner that brought it from CA up to WA state.
