This is and has been my pesonal vehicle for 8 years. I am the second owner and have kept the truck in imaculate condition. Despite its size and modifications the truck handles and drives like no other and is just an all around fun truck. It has brought me much joy over the years and it has been a very tough decison letting it go. It has been treated somewhat like a sports car being garage kept and stored in the winter. I like to start by listing the cons these are the only "issues" with this truck and have been considered when pricing the truck1- The driver side seat has a tear in the cloth and the foam needs to be replaced, this is a common issue with these trucks and happens over time from getting in and out. It in no way prohibits driving2- I removed the emergency brake cables from under the truck when it was restored because they were rusty and looked like shit i planned on buying new ones but never got around to it, i still have the old ones and they could be put back on or you could order new ones they are very inexpensive. I have done a complete restoration of the truck last summer. Besides the following list of modifications i have completely restored the chassis, axles and all components. The bed was removed and the body was lifted off the frame. The chassis was cleaned and sanded of all rust and unnecessary brackets and then painted with SEMA high gloss rust preventive paint. I also painted the underneath of the body. The bed was brought to an auto body shop where it was completely restored and painted i also had them paint underneath to match for a show finish. The axles were removed and also grind-ed of all rust prepped and painted with SEMA high gloss black rust preventive paint and then clear coated for extra durability. All suspension parts, steering tie-rods, brackets ect.. were powder-coated high gloss black and are in immaculate condition. All the wiring, hoses ect... under the truck were properly routed and secured for a clean look. All the wiring connections are soldered and heat-shrinked and ran in wire loom. The lift is no cheap bolt on kit. It has 8in progressive coils up front with a 2in spacer. The control arms have been replaced with boxed style extremely strong and adjustable long arm kit with brand new bushings and heim joints. The mounting location has been moved back and replaced with a new bracket that has been welded to the frame to make it a true long arm kit allowing the best ride and flexing of the suspension. The rear leafs have been taken out and replaced with a full 4in progressive leaf pack built by atlas springs and has been paired with a high performance 6in drop shakle. This eliminates the need for those ugly unsafe lift blocks that u will find on most lifted trucks. It maintains the payload yet due to the progressive springs offer a much better ride. A 3in body lift was installed along with all new energy suspension body bushing and hardware before reinstalling cab and bed. The fuel tank was removed and cleaned inside and out and an XDP billet sump was installed to feed the new FASS TITANIUM 150GPH fuel pump. The stock fuel filter was deleted using an XDP billet dellete. The steering was upgraded to a PURE PERFORMANCE system which is absolutely hands down the most solid and responsive system on the market. The truck has been aligned and tracks straight down the road with even tire ware and no pulling or wonder. Also many hours hours have gone into building custom drive shafts by tom woods drive shafts and getting all the axle and pinion angles right to eliminate any vibrations whats so ever. A NEW TRANSMISSION AND TORQ CONVERTER INSTALLED 5/1/14 NEW STARTER INSTALLED 10/22/15 SOME OF THE MAINTENANCE WORK DONE LAST SUMMER INCLUDES DISSEMBLING THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK SO I COULD GET AT THE MOTOR. THE WATER PUMP WAS REPLACED, ALTERNATOR ALL PULLEYS BELT, BELT TENSIONER. I ALSO INSTALLED A NEW FRONT CRANKSHAFT SEAL AND REAPER SLEEVE ON THE CRANK TO STOP A SMALL OIL LEAK THAT IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE TRUCKS. THERE ARE NO OIL LEAKS, EXHAUST LEAKS ECT... UNDER THIS TRUCK AND IT IS IN SHOW CONDITION. ALL 4 CALIPERS WERE REPLACED WITH GENUINE CHRYSLER PARTS. ALL THE ACCESSORY LIGHTING, STEREO, EDGE PROGRAMMER WIRING HAS BEEN WRAPPED WITH WIRE LOOM AND INSTALLED TO LOOK LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TOO BE THERE.
