Platinum Silver Metallic 2003 Subaru WRX with KAAZ Straight Cut Close-Ratio Transmission!CLEAN TITLE. WRXs of this generation are very hard to come by with a clean title, most WRXs have been wrecked and rebuilt. Transmission has been upgraded to a 5-Speed KAAZ straight-cut gear close ratio transmission. This high performance transmission utilizes straight cut gears instead of helical cut gears. This eliminates thrust load. Standard WRX transmissions are good for only 300awhp and won't last long even at that power level. This transmission is stronger than STI RA gear sets and out preforms STI gear sets due to being considerably lighter and stronger. Transmission was over $5,000 installed and has 14k miles on it.Many other performance upgrades are installed. Some of these include VF39 STI turbo, 565cc injectors, walboro 255 fuel pump, Perrin fuel rails with steel braided fuel lines, Perrin front mount intercooler ($1,900), Perrin intake, Perrin blow off valve, Perrin catch can, Perrin crank pulley, Exedy stage 1 clutch, Perrin 3 port electronic boost solenoid, Stromung cat less downpipe, Vibrant exhaust, upgraded brakes, suspension upgrades. Tuned at FTW in Eugene, OR.STI interior in excellent condition, Skunk Racing shift knob, Audio upgrades. Kenwood CD player and two 12" subs.Power windows and locks, cruise control. One key.The wrx may possibly need to have the motor rebuilt. The knock is quite minor, it still runs fine at the current time. I was told it could either be a rod bearing or a timing belt tensioner that needs to be replaced.This is a very eye catching WRX. Sounds very nice.
