This has been a really fun build and ready to part ways. I purchased this 2009 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon July 2015 from an insurance auction here in Cleveland. It was a light front hit focused on the left front wheel which bent the Dana 44 axle. Frame horns were repairable but went a different route. I wanted to do an open checkbook build so I started with a new frame from Chrysler and a G2 Core 44 front axle. I pieced the lift together with popular components I've had great results with over the years. Front and rear coils are progressive rate Eibach 3.5". The shocks are Fox with External reservoirs. I retained the factory control arms as they last the longest of all aftermarket arms, used AEV front drops to correct geometry. Stainless braided lines at all four corners. Wheels are ProComp 17x9 wrapped in Cooper SST Pro 37/12.50R17 tires. Smittybuilt front bumper with winch provisions. Flat fenders were stripped and powder coated in gunmetal gray with a powder coat clear for durability. Soft top stays off as I only drive it during the summer as a toy. It will be installed after the sale. A few standard items about this jeep: 3.8 V6 6 speed manual transmission, switchable locking front and rear differentials, Electronic front disconnect on the sway bar, 4:1 transfer case.
