Vehicle Detail
A real barn find here. Last driven 43 years ago in 1973 and then parked in a garage in Langhorne PA until 10 years ago. 1956 Buick 60 Series Model 69 Century Estate Wagon w/ Dynaflow trans. Fisher body style 55-4481. GM Buick Fireball V-8 322, 255 hp, Torque net: 341 lb-ft, Outside length: 205.1 in, wheelbase: 122 in. Dry weight 4080 lbs, estimated curb weight: 4250 lbs. Production in 1956 = 8160 cars. Manufactured with all the options available in 1956: Power windows, Power brakes, Power steering, Power seats, Factory Air Conditioning (Frigidaire), Dual Exhaust, Radio, and Power antenna. I have the title in hand. There are extra NOS parts with the car + a Tire & extra front bumper. A full set of 5 original spoke wheels. 1 in spare bay.The only damage is the tailgate which was struck by a truck driven through the garage door and the tailgate was down at the time. And the windshield is cracked. Al the other glass is in great shape. The seats are in good shape. There is a hole in the headliner behind the sun visor on the right side. When found it had been sitting for 33+ years and all tires were flat. I hooked up my compressor and the tires pumped right up. Currently holding the same air I put in 10 years ago. I trailered it to where it sits now. It's only been outside for the last 4 years. I've been asked "does it run?" After not running for 43+ years I'm not willing to jump it and risk scoring the cylinders. It's dry as a bone. Your welcome to inspect it inside and out if you like and even turn the engine with a breaker bar. I fully expect a diligent buyer for this rare buggy. Delivery is optional via open or closed trailer. Additional photos can be seen on our "Dolittle Enterprises" community facebook page. Search Dolittle Enterprises as a community page.
