I am a west coast, primarily old Ferrari dealer, helping a lady sell her 1987 Porsche 930 turbo that has been sitting for several years in OHIO. I have inspected the car, had the gas tank cleaned, installed a new battery, a new fuel pump in attempt to start the car. The car did run briefly but need additional work in the fuel distributor, it appears all gummed up and stuck. Assume it needs to be taken apart and rebuiltEngine turns over and oil pressure comes up on starter motor and while it was briefly trying to stay running.The brakes and parking brake do work.Front fenders are steel. Unsure who did the conversion The car was put in storage several years back during a divorce. The car had been running and driving at the time, was owned and used regularly for several years, prior to it becoming dormant. The paint was relatively new at the time of storage. A used aftermarket spoiler was found, the one on the car had been cracked and I could not locate. The used front spoiler comes with the car.Sorry it wasn't photographed, but the part needs a repair, paint and installation I ordered the COA for the car. The engine is original to the car, I am unsure how clear the engine number picture is in the ad, but I can get a better photo later this week. I have seen the number, stamping look good. Matching the number on the COA I additionally took photos of all the VIN numbers around the car. All stampings look good and intact. As far as the body, I saw no signs of accident damage, rust, rust repair or any drama. The car was just left sitting The estimate the work to making the car roadworthy as, dropping the engine, major service, rebuild the rear fuel system, replace necessary old fuel and oil lines, then reinstall powertrain to make this into a running driving car. The owner does NOT have the original wheels. I did locate the space saver spare tire in the meantime. Comes with the car. The Porsche is located outside of Dayton Ohio and inspections are welcomed and encouraged. I will be able to show the car later this week when I am back in town.
