.1971, ONLY 603 ORIGINAL MILES ON THIS ORIGINAL HONDA CT70 TRAIL! This little CT70 TRAIL is in fantastic shape, runs, shifts and goes down the road (or up a trail) as she should! Dependable and good looking all in one package.... yep, a looker AND a rider!!!NO restoration of any kind done on this little CT70.NO NEED, ONLY HAS 603 ORIGINAL MILES !!! ONLY MAINTENANCE items replaced or adjusted.Still has original decals, stickers, seat, and so on... and only 603 miles.... STILL "NEW".... AND RUNS LIKE "NEW" NO smoke, NO oil consumption, and NO oil leaks... Runs smooth and quiet (ya can remove the original Baffle and adjust the Carb if ya want more sounds), what the heck, it's a HONDA CT70 Trail. Below are just a few of the high and low points: Body/Frame- NO RUST OUT! (doesn't happen here in our sunny, drought ridden, South Western States)- Very light "rust" spotting here and there on the chrome areas, also some noticed on the painted areas... other than a normal paint chip or scratch here and there, but it is so minor that it's hard to see in person, let alone in the pictures, normal stuf for a 40 year old trail bike that's been kept inside all the time, but ya gotta mention it. - The ORIGINAL Exhaust (Honda number HM098) is tight, solid with NO rust out, original baffle still in place. (see picture)- Hasn't been all cleaned up, this is just the way I keep it.- The Handle bars are lightly rust spotted. NO bends or re-work on the bars, just ORIGINAL!- The Handle bars rotate for storage or hauling as the should.- The seat is in Great condition on top AND underneath. NO dents, NO cracks and NO weak spots. It's still a pretty seat, "nothin" bad here!- The Frame is solid and smooth.... NO rust rot, NONE.- The Tires are good! Still with lots of tread on the front and the rear is probably 75% there. (only 603 miles, what the heck, how much rubber can ya wear-off? see pictures)- The headlight and speedometer bucket, glass and face are all in excellent shape.- Speedometer AND Miles meter work great- Chain guard perfect, and no cracks. (these older CT's had steel chain guards, that's why no cracks, see pictures). - Original Air filter cover!- Under the seat... the frame, battery, battery area, battery cover, TOOLS and tool holder "clip" are there and in Excellent condition. (see picture of seat in up position)- The Gas Tank is clean and rust free! (see picture) - Comes with BILL OF SALE, and "blue" plate. - NO passenger (rear) foot pegs are on this CT70. - No turn lights on this CT70 - Comes with 3 keys, 1 original and 2 copies.- Head light and Tail light work- Hi / LO beam indicator light works- Comes with keys, owners manual and shop manual pictured- Starts right up and runs great NO MAJOR Replaced, Painted, or Buffed Parts.... NOT RESTOREDNormal maintenance over the years only. I'm sure I have forgotten something, but check the pictures as they are the best at describing this CT70 Trail... and please ask questions. PLEASE look at the pictures closely, I have taken the time to take pictures of the "bad stuff", which isn't even that bad, so ya know exactly what you are buying. What ya see, is what ya get. It HAS BEEN MAINTAINED and KEPT ORIGINAL when ever possible!She still looks and runs great, so why mess with her?The motor runs great! The valves adjusted, oil changed, and a tune-up were done a while back.You take care of (MAINTAIN) them, and they take care of you!!!! NOTHIN' LIKE A HONDA.... NOTHIN'!I rode it around a couple days ago and she's purrin' like a kitten... sweet! Why am I sellin' it? Well, I've got a shed and garage full of older bikes and it's a real chore tryin' ta keep up with "takin' care of them" as they should be, so I'm thinnin' the herd. I only ride a couple of them regularly now, so it's time for someone else ta enjoy this little CT70 TRAIL... and take care of her, So..... now ya know. Did I forget anything? I'm sure I did, heck, I'm pushin' 70 now.... I'm lucky I remember where the coffee pot is half the time. If ya have any questions... PLEASE ask!
