1973 CR250M Elsinore The engine is number CR250ME-1013918, which does fall within the matching numbers for this year.Below is a list of the condition of various parts of this bike. If you have any other questions just send us a message through ebay for a quick response. - This bike does not run, the engine locked up last month. Prior to seizing the engine ran well and the clutch transmission and gearbox worked properly. - The transmission shifts through all gears.- The front and rear brakes work. - The clutch pulls smoothly. - The front and rear suspension compresses and rebounds well. - The fork and shock shafts have no rust or damage apparent. - The carburetor is not original. - The fuel tank has evidence of bondo but we didn't find any leaks- The seat is not original to the bike.- The tires are cracked and worn- The front rim has some edge cracks, none on the rear.- The pipe has a large hole in the bottom- The pipe mount has a weld on it, otherwise the frame appears to be free from repair or other issues.- There are no obvious holes or repairs to the crankcases. Overall the bike is a good nearly complete candidate for restoration or an excellent parts bike. We do part bikes but I can't bring myself to tear apart a rare first year CR like this one.Bike is located in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I will prep the bike for YOUR shipper to pick up here in LHC.
