For sale is a VIN number triple matched, (engine, frame, and tag) 1967 R50/2 with original paints, VIN: 642426, with 46801 miles. We got this bike from an estate sale. This was supposed to be my father-in-law's "back to ride again bike", but not until mother-in-law found out and said NO. The bike has to go. All the works I put in for my in-law have become yours to enjoy. We was intended to completely restored the bike, but found out this bike is so original. Therefore, we decided leave this beautiful patina along and focused on the mechanic. I have gone through the whole bike as my father-in-law going to ride in mind. The works performed were as followed, new brake shoes, both front and back. Safety checked/re-torqued on every single nuts and bolts on the whole bike. Re-adjusted front brake setting. Ensured all the wiring/lights functional. Re-set valve gaps to spec. Re-set ignition timing/gap. new Bosch spark plugs. Cleaned/Re-built both carburetors with new gaskets. Rebuilt horn. New air filter. New fuel lines/filter. New sealed 6v battery. Replaced all fluids (TWICE) (Engine, transmission, driveshaft, and final drive). Cleaned/lubed all the cables. New solo seat. New headlight ear mirrors. This bike wears this 50 years old patina, and front and rear fenders are still very solid. The inside of the gas tank is unbelievable clean with perfect factory red paint still attached. Matched Key/lock for the gas tank storage door, and fully function. The bike starts with first kick and idling smoothly. If you wondered how a /2 should sound while it idles, this is the textbook example. There are 3 videos of this bike on you tube for you to watch.
