Driven less than 1,000 miles since complete "nut and bolt" restoration - factory rebuilt motor, transmission, new soft top, windows (curtains), interior, upholstery, wiring, felts, gaskets, paint, suspension components - all restored to as-new with meticulous attention to detail. Driven and garage kept primarily on the east end of Long Island for the last five years. Our VW Thing runs and drives exactly as it did from the factory. Steering is responsive, gears change confidently, clutch and brakes are superb. It would be very difficult, if not impossible, to replicate this example.
